Meet the Author – Randi Moxi

Meet the Author!

Visit us on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Studio Moonfall from 4pm to 7pm to meet Children’s Books Author, Randi Moxi.

Hang out at the shop and take a peek inside their book, A Pittie Pool Party:

Becca has to tell her newly rescued puppy Sister some hard truths about the way people view her breed. But her friends save the day by showing love to them both in a very special way!

This beautiful story starring a rescued pit bull type dog and the girl that saved her brings wonderful lessons and blessings to families and classrooms. It’s great for all ages and the perfect gift for those who want to share the power of friendship, nonjudgement, acceptance and animal rescue. The Pittie Pool Party encourages the gift of sharing emotions with friends and family, laying a healthy groundwork for communication and accepting vulnerability. It also establishes an understanding of how judging any person or creature before knowing them as an individual can cause harm to them and us. This book embodies the incredible power of friendship, inclusivity, acceptance, and rescuing animals.

A portion of all proceeds will go to animal rescue.

Randi Moxi grew up in an animal shelter in West Virginia that was run by her grandmother, Sally. She’s seen firsthand how out of control the pet population is in America and asks that you please rescue and spay and neuter your pets. She hopes you treat all animals as the individuals they are and learn their preferences together through communication and proper, positive and loving training methods.
She was exposed to all dog breeds throughout her childhood but did not fully understand the plight of the most bullied breed in the world, pit bull type breeds, until moving to Chicago. Pit bulls are superior in intelligence, strength, and loyalty. When taught to do wrong things, they are efficient in accomplishing what they are asked or made to do to survive. Animals teach us so much and we must help save and guide them to better lives than this. Teaching important lessons through pit bulls to children is her way to give back to the breed that has changed her life in more positive ways than she could ever describe.
Randi lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her loving husband and 5 amazing pitbull mix fur children. She is a certified dog trainer, animal communicator, life coach, event producer, brand strategist and motivational speaker.

Chicago journalist Erin Nichols isn’t about to give up when she’s fired for writing an exposé. But when a combination of murder, magic, and celestial events transports her through time and space to Canada’s western frontier, city hall corruption becomes the least of her worries.

Panicked and adrift, she awakens in a body not her own, which was found left for dead in the wilderness.

Erin is relieved to take shelter with the local Mountie-the picture of upright Canadian fortitude. But as tragedy stalks the nearby First Nation reserve, Erin learns from a Romanian mystic that magic is dying, and the fae are turning to their darker natures to survive.

While the reserved and sexy Mountie helps her navigate a time in which she doesn’t belong, the mysterious and seductive conjurer helps her try to find a way home. As they alight feelings and desires Erin never knew she was capable of, she begins to wonder where she truly belongs.

Going back could cost her heart but staying could cost her life.

Beyond her skeptic and slightly pessimistic mind, Lieber wants to believe. She has been many places—from Canada to England, France to Italy, Germany to Russia—believing that a better world comes from putting a face on “other.” She is a romantic idealist at heart, always fighting to keep her feet on the ground and her head in the clouds.
Lieber lives in Wisconsin with her husband (John) and cats (Yin and Nox).

Purtee’s literary journey is as compelling as his stories. As a self-professed horror fanatic from the tender age of seven, after accidentally seeing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre at his father’s place, Ron cultivated an appreciation for all things spooky and macabre. However, his artistic journey truly took off when he produced his first film, ‘Becoming Undead,’ shortly after his 32nd birthday. This unleashed an unstoppable creative streak in Ron, and he spent the following decade making films. Now, he’s transferred his visual storytelling prowess onto the written page.

At the event, you’ll get a glimpse into Purtee’s book, ‘The Never Ending Road.’ In this collection of gripping scripts and stories, he promises to deliver a thrilling roller coaster ride, leaving you on the edge of your seat with anticipation.

Before the event, you can get a preview of ‘The Never Ending Road’ at https://amzn.to/3PLCG9W.
