Meet the Author – Ron Purtee

Purtee’s literary journey is as compelling as his stories. As a self-professed horror fanatic from the tender age of seven, after accidentally seeing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre at his father’s place, Ron cultivated an appreciation for all things spooky and macabre. However, his artistic journey truly took off when he produced his first film, ‘Becoming Undead,’ shortly after his 32nd birthday. This unleashed an unstoppable creative streak in Ron, and he spent the following decade making films. Now, he’s transferred his visual storytelling prowess onto the written page.

At the event, you’ll get a glimpse into Purtee’s book, ‘The Never Ending Road.’ In this collection of gripping scripts and stories, he promises to deliver a thrilling roller coaster ride, leaving you on the edge of your seat with anticipation.

Kenosha Book Festival 2023 – Chapter Four
